Antiguan ABBA round 10 best performance: Joshua Minner (by Hoops Agents) - by Eurobasket News
The 33-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Potters S. (#1, 11-2) 92-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Cutie Ovals is placed at 2nd position in Antiguan ABBA. They are still close to the very top. Cutie Ovals would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Minner had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Cutie Ovals, through which he has constantly improved. Former Mid-America Christian University star has very solid stats this year. Minner is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.3ppg. Minner is in league's top in assists (6th best: 4.3apg) and averages impressive 2.3spg and 60.8% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was Keroi Lee (F) of Stingerz. Lee had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Stingerz lost that game 57-77 to slightly lower-ranked Flyers (#4, 7-4). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Stingerz still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 10-3 record is not bad at all. Lee is one of the most experienced players at Stingerz and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third on the list of top players last round was former international forward Cohen Desouza (201-F-1994) of league's top team Potters S.. Desouza scored 26 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Desouza's great performance Potters S. lost 82-92 to #2 ranked Cutie Ovals. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Potters S. had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 2nd lost game is hopefully really an accident. Desouza's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Desouza has a great season in Antigua. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.1ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 9.6rpg (7th best). He also has 2.2spg, 1.1bpg and FGP: 51.6%. Other top performing players last week: 4. Alexis Jackson (205-C-2000) of Cutie Ovals - 18 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists 5. Jabari Williams (211-F-2002) of Flyers - 20 points and 14 rebounds 6. Javonte Daley) of Flyers - 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists 7. T-Shawn Lewis (193-G-2002) of Flyers - 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists 8. David Hernandez) of Flyers - 21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists 9. Lincoln Weekes) of Ottos - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists 10. Adonis Humphreys (198-C-1994) of Flyers - 17 points, 15 rebounds and 2 assists The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Rudolph's double-double lands him NBL One Player of the Week award - by Eurobasket News
He had a double-double of 32 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Diamond V.E. (#8, 12-9) with 18-point margin 105-87. Ballarat M. is placed at 9th position in Australian NBL One. Ballarat M. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-10 record. In the team's last game Rudolph had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Ballarat M., through which he has constantly improved. Tyler Rudolph averages this season 25.1ppg and 11.0rpg. Second best performed player last round was Blake Morrow (193-G-1996) of league's second-best Inner WB. He is American guard in his first season at Inner WB. In the last game Morrow recorded impressive 37 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Inner WB was edged by the lower-ranked Cent.Coast C. (#12, 5-15) 104-102. Inner WB managed to keep the same second spot in the standings. His team's 15-4 record is not bad at all. Morrow is one of the most experienced players at Inner WB and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former Southeastern University star Morrow is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Third place about best performers goes to guard Aaron Ajay Lawton (184-PG-1994) of Cent.Coast C. (#12). Lawton got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. He was a key player of Cent.Coast C., leading his team to a 104-102 win against the higher-ranked Inner WB (#2, 15-4). Cent.Coast C. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 5-15 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Lawton he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Lawton has a very solid season. In 10 games in Australia he scored 20.7ppg. He also has 4.2apg, 3.0spg and and 3PT: 46.5%. Lawton attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball. Other top performing players last week: 4. Luismal Ferreiras claims Dominican Rep. LNB Hoops Agents weekly honour - by Eurobasket News
The 20-year old had a double-double of 28 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team beat Leones (13-8) 112-97. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Indios to jump to the first place in the Dominican Rep. LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Indios has a very solid 13-8 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Ferreiras had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Indios, through which he has constantly improved. Ferreiras has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 10.4rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 60.8% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American point guard Quade Green (183-PG-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) of Reales. Green impressed basketball fans with 32 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for Reales to edge slightly lower-ranked Titanes (#5, 10-11) by 3 points 99-96. Despite this victory Reales slide down in the standings to 3rd position. His team's 13-8 record is not bad at all. Green is one of the most experienced players at Reales and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.7ppg (#9). He also recorded 6.8 assists per game. The third best performed player last round was Luis Santos (203-C-1994) of Caneros (#4). Santos scored 19 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). Despite Santos' great performance Caneros lost 71-79 to #2 ranked Leones. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Caneros needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 12 victories and 9 lost games. Santos has a very solid season. In 6 games in Dominican Republic he scored 15.3ppg. He also has 11.7rpg, 1.5bpg and FGP: 67.2%. Other top performing players last week: 4. Raphiael Putney (207-F-1990) of Reales - 22 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists 5. Keith Jordan (198-PF-1998) of Titanes - 25 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists 6. Nehemias Morillo (197-PF-1992) of Indios - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists 7. Miguel Simon (203-F-1994) of Reales - 18 points and 9 rebounds 8. Dimas Carrasco (SG) of Leones - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists 9. Curtis Hollis (198-SF-1998) of Indios - 21 points and 6 assists 10. Earl Watson (201-C-1990) of Reales - 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
